Single bubble insulationThis insulation product consists of 1 layer of 5/32" polyethylene bubble that is sandwiched between one metalized, low emissivity surface and one layer of puncture resistant, chemically stable, white polyethylene. The purpose for installing Reflective Bubble White Poly in a concrete slab application is two-fold; first, it acts as a vapor retarder and second, it provides a thermal break.
The R value of the system will vary dependent on the airspace size.
